In every moment we are given the ability and the responsibility to choose to do the right thing… or not. What is “right” is a divine, unattached, momentary locus of you-plus-universal intelligence — not simply what might be culturally or socially acceptable or expected, not what your family, or elders, or peers would expect, not anything but the pure and blessed essential true-ness of this naked moment.

Life has a funny, yet brutal way of escorting us back to the sore spots. Sometimes, they’re so well masked we didn’t know they were still causing us harm, just beneath the surface of our process of clumsily clambering for understanding and self-realization.
Creativity thrives on an openness and innocence (or perhaps wilful ignorance), a trust in the unknown and a delightful anticipation of the unexpected. It calls for a certain level of restriction, pressure or limitation: a time constraint, a budget limit, an equipment or materials limit, inexperience, weather conditions, client preferences, Mercury or Mars in retrograde, etc.
