44. I’m seeing it all the time now (no, not so much in the trees or the melancholy winter sky ;-). Numbers and patterns are fascinating. The way nature and the nuances of life reflect and bounce around us is musical, when you exist in the space of love.

7 years ago today, I was working with my longtime friend Mark Greenhalgh, a fellow music producer and lifelong percussionist, on the Fleshwound album. We were trying to hammer out live drum tracks, to replace my originally programmed ones.
Commit to it. The more you dabble, wish-wash, flip-flop and dally — since we know the universe only knows “yes” — the more you’ll exist in a state of chaos and confusion. You’ll fall back into and endlessly repeat patterns based on your established beliefs.
It is true that you can know where you’re at in your journey — if you’re learning your lessons and growing beyond the limits of the old, and likely small story — by looking objectively at the people and situations that are occupying your life.
When you are aiming to reprogram your set patterns and to elevate yourself toward gratitude, ease, grace and flow, one of the simplest — yet profound — tools at your disposal is an affirmation.
