I’ve never been a confident man.
I’m sure there’s some elaborate formula that would shed light on the hows and whys: this gene, coupled with that circumstance, those parents, that culture, those schools, those books, that trauma, that success, these friends, those choices, those actions, and that value… multiplied by this belief and that evidence, equals this man?
Whatever you’re developing, building, coding, researching, teaching or designing, if you’re doing it to subvert, antagonize, or undermine the system that is, you’re no better than you’re enemy.
Maybe you can’t draw, write a rhyme or an original story, paint happy clouds, sculpt with marble, improvise a scene, strum a chord, paradiddle, glissando,…
