Competitors. Enemies. It is curious, and telling, that we introduce these inherently violent thematic elements into virtually all areas of life — most notably, and most virulently within ourselves. Should we ever find ways to alleviate this persistent psychological, philosophical, or epistemological pressure, would we know what to do with ourselves, how to behave, how to function in society, or how to communicate?

There is much to complain about these days, isn’t there? Our Western society is rife with imbalances, violence, judgements, labels, polarity, superficiality, and spiritual disembodiment. One could almost call it conspiratorial in nature, as if some malevolent forces are at work to keep us discontented, disconnected, and dysfunctional.
There’s a lot of clever language and programming out there that keeps us spinning around and dazed, frustrated, directionless and at odds with ourselves and each other.
It’s an odd statement, isn’t it, “conditions may apply?” Similarly, when they say, “your call may be recorded…” they’re both blatantly lying.
There are individual battles, hard fought, likely justifiable, maybe on some level a rebalancing of things. Regardless, meaningful and reality shifting.
