Our modern world is, it can be said, full of uncertainty. One could also say that many of us are feeling overwhelmed, oscillating between confidence and fear. The observable wider effect of this is a culture that manifests and enables any number of authorities, experts, gurus, politicians, and cult leaders. It is a time of great change, so buckle up.

It has been an interesting year, thus far, this 2020. I have to admit to feelings of a misanthropic nature. Certainly melancholy. It seems many of my fellow humans have indeed lost their senses.
The peaceful ones would prefer to live without distraction and disharmony, to feel safe while being relatively passive, and to pursue happiness without compromise or competition.
This is a common phrase I hear in podcasts and interviews with people who are aiming to enlighten, awaken, inform, inspire and shake-up the paradigms to move humanity toward collective solutions and peaceful progress. I think it’s important to approach all of these ideas differently.
Living in a society that is biased toward dis-ease and negativity, it’s an ongoing challenge to keep our heads above water, to avoid being mired and confused by intrusive and destructive worldly narratives, and to keep our inner guidance at the forefront of our processes, rather than an incidental escape or occasionally forced checkpoint.
