Our one and only mission in this world is to use our abilities, skills, and talents to benefit humanity. We are given inspiration, insight, ideas, concepts, and solutions so that we can regive, reproduce, apply, or propagate good with one another. The extent to which we can channel those generative energies into tangible results — by producing, creating, disseminating, and following through — would thus be the standard by which we would measure our success.

There’s the dream
That’s been shadowed
By the rain
By the constant weight of fear
Do the echoes break my stride
There’s the dream
That’s been covered
By the skin
By the weightless swell of tears
Can you hear the crying shame?
As you may know, I am a recording artist who has been writing, composing, and producing my own original music since I was about 16. Today, I am… older. I have a backlog of unfinished projects, albums, and random ideas. I’ve made notes for some cool music videos. There is ample evidence on several hard drives that ideas and inspirations were never in short supply, but the ridiculous amount of time that began to elapse between releasing products and creations into the world has increased significantly. I’m sure many other creators out there can relate.
There are many ways in which events we may or may not have any control over will sabotage the flow of our lives, diverting us from our mission.
