A day slips by whether we meet it consciously or let it carry us along. What we choose — or avoid — leaves a quiet imprint, even when no one else sees it.
When we look at the various stories that play out in our days, some beginning even as we open our eyes in the morning, we may not ever become entirely aware of the unconscious means with which we keep ourselves down, subservient, empty, and angry.
One thing you learn as you journey along the path is that whatever you’re looking for out of life is what you’re going to find.
“Your job is your side project.” A good perspective.
It’s a fairly common and repeating theme as we delve time and again into the creative life — or whatever we’re building, aspiring and moving toward — while we expend countless hours and energetic resources working a job to maintain a semblance of support for ourselves… and very likely a family.
