Unseen Connections

Avoidance and resistance require effort. It takes conscious, focused energy to push against something — whereas acceptance, surrender and connection, is choosing to go with the flow; to go with the river; to go downstream; to go with what life is providing, offering and giving.

You can witness the subtleties of the fading stories, and the emerging consciousness pushing out the muck of fragmentation and maligned energies, as we are guided consciously toward the pursuit of our soul’s integrity.

Muted Colors

One of the most challenging aspects of living in this reality is facing the onslaught of intense energies that affect us on an emotional level. We have inherent defense mechanisms that, left unchecked, will numb and subdue our spiritual presence — and blur our perspective — and we can lose much in the process.

I was thinking the other day, while hiking around the smoky woods, how it’s a shame there are so many more fires these days, seemingly. Talking to my dad this morning, he reflected some of the same notions.
