Artist. Writer. Amplify the light.
It’s been quite a year. Much has changed. Much has stayed the same. I have lived in four different places, after being parked for five years… And I’m on the verge of moving again.
What holds true is that wherever we go, there we be. I feel that as vividly as ever.
As I scribble in the last few words that fit perfectly onto the last page of another notebook, numerous powerful energies infiltrate my body and spirit.
“Your job is your side project.” A good perspective.
It’s a fairly common and repeating theme as we delve time and again into the creative life — or whatever we’re building, aspiring and moving toward — while we expend countless hours and energetic resources working a job to maintain a semblance of support for ourselves… and very likely a family.
Transcend the noise and the cliché, and you have a chance at the impossible.
To journey without being changed is to be a nomad.
To change without journeying is to be a chameleon.
To journey and be transformed by the journey is to be a pilgrim.
