It seems that, regardless of the generation in which one is raised, we are forever being inundated with misinformation, disinformation, propaganda, “expert” opinions, and an assortment of indoctrination and narrative manipulation.
How’s that for an opening statement?
Of course, in the modern era, all of this mind control and message manipulation is happening at a time when endless streams of emotional and psychological entrapment and distraction are offered and freely available through our social media and entertainment industries. I believe many of these bright, shiny, colorful, and attractive aspects of modernity are designed to “steal your gaze,” so to speak, in order to keep your heart, mind, and spirit dissociated and disengaged with who you really are, what you truly value, and what could and perhaps should be most important to you in living your best life.
This is by no accident, of course. The Message, as it is in modern times referred to, includes a predominantly negative, anti-human, anti-life, anti-nature bias that I believe is devised by some kind of force, entity, or organized effort — or, perhaps a blend of them all. This persistent, arguably ancient reality construct is remarkably effective at stealing and suppressing the lightness and ecstasy of a natural human life, one’s joie de vivre, capturing and corrupting the foundation upon which we may build and pursue the best versions of the highest visions we’ve ever held for ourselves and those we care about.
The Message is a toxic soup of force-fed ideologies, childish and divisive politics, persistent fearmongering and state propaganda, parasitic “globalist” agendas, and other malefic and misguided ideas of those who promulgate issues and concerns that, for the most part, matter only to a very select few, yet have been adopted by the ignorant many. It is these same self-appointed, self-important few who control the levers, as well as the motives and actions of their agents installed in prominent offices, age-old institutions, and secret-laden boardrooms for transnational banks and mega-corporations. It is a narrative designed to keep meaningful progress, genuine community-building, and a potentially harmonious civilization at bay. It foments animosity while subjugating our inherent humanity.
People such as myself stand in direct opposition to this Message. My aim is to amplify the Light. It’s that simple and that difficult.
There are a lot of purportedly spiritual and “thought leader” types in the modern era. Unfortunately, I believe that many of them are little more than what would be considered controlled opposition, funded, propped up, installed, and placed in positions of influence to keep the curious, authentic, and well-meaning among us spinning around, frustrated, angry, aimless, and confused. My intention has always been to dispel the lies, big and small, and, as much as is possible, promote that which is real, authentic, and true.

Who is Trance Blackman?
I am a recording artist, singer-songwriter, writer, seeker of truth, and lifelong learner. I’ve worked in the film and TV industry, in community theater, in voice acting, and other in media production. I’ve also had a number of “normal” day jobs along the way, but the creative life is really the only life for me.
On my website and blog, over the last 20+ years, I’ve written hundreds of posts, articles, and essays. In 2024, I again went about updating and revising, recording audio (and making some video) versions, and streamlining all of that content, which includes removing articles and posts that no longer align with my current views, values, and understanding. Topics include metaphysics, philosophy, psychology, spirituality, propaganda, politics, the arts, health and wellness, and everything in between. My motivation has always been to lean into the truth, to shine light on the darkness, and to propose ideas and perspectives that generally challenge many (perhaps most) things that are taken for granted as real, normal, acceptable, and true as maintained by “the mainstream narrative.”
Therefore, while I write and share ideas that may be useful and perhaps eye-opening and empowering for the masses, I do not write for, cater to, or pander to the general consensus. I write more for the fringe, the seeking audience, those who question everything, and those who engage in what the pundits and experts would label “conspiracy theory” or controversial.
Unfortunately, we live in a time where virtually everything is in some way offensive to someone, everything is racist, nothing is sacred, no tradition is safe, and being a straight white man is essentially a crime. Regardless, as stated, my intention is to amplify the light, which, to me, means to do what I can to observe the darkness but not absorb it; to examine and expose the lies and distortions without allowing the enormity of the prospect to bring me down or overwhelm me. This, of course, is an ongoing challenge, as the harsh realities of this realm are often difficult to contend with.
We live in a remarkable, diverse, alive, dynamic, adaptive, and beautiful realm. Each of us carries a spark unique to ourselves and has a reason, purpose, and meaning for our brief time here in this short life. I hope to be more of an uplifting and inspiring source of ideas, perspectives, and opinions than not.
