Journal

Here you’ll find my philosophical meanderings in the form of articles, essays, and occasional poetry. My interests and curiosities are broad, but the central focus remains the pursuit of what is authentic, real, and true.

While We’re Still Here

While We’re Still Here

Fear, Fiction, and the Human Story

Perhaps the first thing worth questioning is not what we have been told about the world, but why we have been taught to fear it in the first place. So much of what passes for certainty seems to depend upon our willingness to accept the premise before we ever examine it, and so much of what follows becomes inevitable only because we have agreed, consciously or otherwise, that it must be. Somewhere beneath all of it remains a simpler possibility: that we have far more agency than we’ve been led to believe, and that the story is not yet finished.

The Reality We Inherited

The Reality We Inherited

Standing on Stories

There is a peculiar exhaustion that comes from maintaining a reality some deeper part of you no longer believes. You can learn to live with the contradictions, explain away the inconsistencies, and keep moving through the machinery of everyday life, but the questions remain. Perhaps the greater discomfort isn’t discovering that something you believed was untrue. Perhaps it’s realizing how much of yourself you invested in believing it.

The Fight

The Fight

You don’t fight to win. You fight to prevent the psychopaths from destroying everything they touch.

False Foundations

False Foundations

There’s a quiet tension that sits beneath the surface of how we move through the world — a subtle friction between what we’re told is true and what, at some deeper level, never quite settles. It’s not loud. It doesn’t announce itself. But it lingers in the background of our thoughts, in the spaces between decisions, in the feeling that something about the way we’ve come to understand ourselves doesn’t fully hold.

True Colors

True Colors

A quiet unraveling reveals itself not in a single moment, but in the accumulation of fractures. When the systems once trusted begin to expose their nature, what remains is not only disillusionment, but a choice — to collapse with them, or to rediscover what is real.

Singularity: Closer to What is Real

Singularity: Closer to What is Real

A single day can feel like a fracture in time, where everything noisy falls away just long enough to reveal what has been speaking all along.
