We can get so turned around in life that we fear losing shitty relationships, shitty jobs, and shitty habits. The small story can get so convoluted that we believe when someone says “that’s life,” they are in fact saying, “that’s all there is to life…” This is so far from the truth it hurts to proofread it.

There is an idea in the new thought era that speaks to the concept of following your heart. What we desire is perfect and unique to us, and this statement and idea is quite often misused and abused by the new-age-minded crowd.
Boredom is a signifier that you are not on purpose. It’s one of many so don’t overthink it.
Purpose, doesn’t necessarily mean something huge. It doesn’t necessarily mean something all-encompassing. Purpose, is the heart-centered, soul-centered, deep reason for your being—for right now; it’ll change. Life is change. Life adapts. You are always changing and adapting.
You have done enough. But if you still choose to wake in the morning, if you still choose this dream over the other, your works here aren’t complete.
I do hope that you get to swallow a few bitter pills regarding the things that you’ve felt certain about for so long, as some tenet—belief, opinion, dogma—that’s been believed and just held onto for centuries, or perhaps even millennia.
