On Becoming: Small Steps

Life is a journey, not just a destination, but we often get distracted by battles that drain our energy. When we focus on our deeper desires and take small, inspired steps each day, the process itself transforms us. It’s not about hustling or waiting for motivation; it’s about showing up with presence, passion, and play. Reconnect with what matters and move toward the life you’ve always desired.

Keep the end result in mind. What’s your trajectory, or ultimate destination? What do you truly desire in life?

What do you really want?

Too often, we battle ourselves or others over petty nonsense, draining our energy and distracting us from what really matters. We are inherently passionate, adventurous creators. What kind of rational being would choose to enter life with no memory, no language, and no clue? Yet, we all did. That same limitless energy is always within us, waiting to be accessed once we clear the noise and reconnect with presence.

Many of us struggle with ego, confusion, and a sense of disconnection from purpose. We hesitate to start, avoid getting our hands dirty, and let external distractions hold us back. But the real work is in distilling our spirit and clearing the way. The work is the journey itself.

Start with the most powerful thought: “I am enough.” Remind yourself of this daily until it truly sets in.

Then, recognize the importance of inspired action. You can’t attract what you want unless you’re energetically aligned with it. Beyond attraction lies acceptance: When it shows up, will you see and appreciate it, or will doubt hold you back?

Each day, take a step toward what you desire. This is where practice — writing, painting, working out, research — comes in. Every action, no matter how small, builds the path and helps you decide if this is worth fighting for. As you progress, you’ll evolve into the version of yourself who can truly receive what you want. This is especially important in a society where self-sabotage is so prevalent.

This isn’t about working yourself to exhaustion. Success means different things to different people, but we all have untapped reserves. We also have the latent ability to tap into the original source, which is unlimited.

Every small step builds confidence and trust, propelling you forward — often more quickly than you expect. The necessary elements and co-creators are already out there, waiting to meet you.

One more idea: Do what you hate. Tackle the unpleasant tasks first to clear space for what flows next. Make mistakes. Make many mistakes. Don’t wait for motivation — it could take years, and life is just too damn short. Sometimes, you need to kick your own butt, and you may find you end up loving what you once dreaded.

We all have layers of programs and conditions that cloud our creative nature. The key is to choose awareness and anchor ourselves in deeper knowing — to recognize that we are greater than we suppose ourselves to be.

Life is simple. Love is simple, too.

Ultimately, we all want to feel good, to be happy — not just once in a while. This isn’t a new idea, but perhaps it simply hasn’t always been a priority.

It’s time to turn the page and start fresh, straight from the heart.
