On Building a Highway

There’s a psychological trick we may unintentionally disrupt the flow in our life with, only because, as per usual, we’re not even aware that we’re doing it. In fact, we employ a lot of paradoxical or conflicting programs all the time, so it’s no wonder that we often find ourselves flailing about or otherwise overwhelmed, confused, frustrated and stumped. This inevitably leads to a variation of the blame/shame game, and more often than not, it turns inward.

What’s the Point?

In today’s information age, it’s a fairly easy thing to get overwhelmed. When you have mainstream media nonsense, social media addiction, video games and endless phone apps, you’re likely heading for a regular dose of sensory and emotional overload.

You (Still) Want More

Most of the world is at peace.

Most humans care about the wellbeing of other humans, and the planet.

Most of the planet is uninhabited.

There is more money than ever.

There is more awareness, mindfulness, collective consciousness, and elevated spiritual energy than ever.

What the world needs…

It’s one of the most overused phrases in modern times. However, what “the world needs,” truly, is for us to get clear on what it is we even mean when we say “world”. Do you mean all of humanity? The earth? Both? The Western world? The third? Whose world are we referring to with our grandiose sentiments? And how the hell do we get off speaking as if we have any clue about what the world needs?
