We live in a society that seems hell bent on scaring us to death, and only superheroes can save us. If you buy into the noise, we’re only two heartbeats from failed health, failed relationships, and financial ruin.

I often feel thoroughly in my element, and that I am on my mission — yet nearly as often, I get tripped up and frustrated by the practical things… like providing for myself and being able to pay the bills, so to free up my creative and conscious efforts, and get back to being a positive, uplifting, healing force in this world, at this time.
There’s a general notion that investing ten thousand hours in the practice or training of something will afford us the mastery of said skill, ability, or practice.
There are many “best” moments that have come and gone. I try to harbor fewer regrets about anything as I get older. Holding any negativity or judgment toward anything, really, is only ever self-serving and muddies the lucidity of awareness and inspiration. It’s been far too easy to beat the shit out of myself, or to project my fears onto others.
They’re not judging you. It’s all you.
When you consider the holographic nature of what appears to be around you, there’s a certain futility in trying to distinguish “me” from “you” — that, and all that comprises the seemingly solid ground between us.
