when we practice authentic, open communication as a rule, we lose the need to protect ourselves from attack, or to save up “doozies” to assail someone when a defensive moment arrives.

relationships are dynamic, alive, and ever-changing. our culture has a massive bent toward the passive-aggressive routines, gossip, award/reward, control/punishment and ego-driven, destructive mentalities that only ever reinforce barriers between us. how’s that going?

be real. disingenuous placation and superficial pleasantries are a coward’s playground. less filters, more substance.

be you, freely.
