Father Sun, Mother Earth, how complete is the nature of life. We cannot have a balance without the polaric dance, we cannot know contrast without the two. So, we suffer by the choice to ignore the obvious and plain, to gather and to extrapolate the grander essence of the vast expressions underneath.

When we think about compatibility, we may think it’s about always getting along, or always being comfortable and easy with our partner. I don’t think that’s realistic. No relationship is a cure-all for our wounds and wantings.
Echoes of our childhood carry on throughout our lives without the careful and rigorous work of recognition, acceptance, mirroring, integrating and elevating ourselves into the world beyond those self-centered boundaries and limitations.
The world is a loud, noisy place. Information and opinions and flashy headlines and ad campaigns are ubiquitous, constantly pounding into our skulls the ideas, messages and agendas of someone else, generally under the guise of being “for the common good”. We must be ever vigilant with our cognitive and emotional resources.
A human life is rife with pressures, whether intrinsic, extrinsic, imagined or very real. We’re a resilient species, but why the persistent layering of weight, warring, woe and worry?
