The Unseen Work

Not everything that moves us forward looks like progress. Sometimes the frustration, repetition, and seemingly meaningless detours are quietly preparing us for something more authentic. The trick is learning to recognize the flow beneath the noise, trust the process, and keep moving.

.   .   .

You may not always recognize it, but whatever you put genuine effort into lays stones along the path toward your desires and preferences, including your true soul work.

Whether it pushes you to the limits of frustration, takes the form of mundane, predictable rigmarole, or seems repetitive and empty, it can serve to realign you with the flow and draw you back into it.

Flow is your natural state, obscured by the incessant noise of worldly seeking, expectations, and the illusion of control.

You’ll inevitably have to crash through walls and barriers. Sometimes they’ll leave you no choice but to dare greatly and follow your path. Along the way, you’ll develop skills, capabilities, and confidence, gain clarity of mind and spirit, and attract opportunities that lead you closer to the real you.

Our imagination, when tethered to fixed moments and ideas, can create an asphyxiating bubble around us. We can and will burst it, time and again, as we reconnect with our authentic stream and the broader, infinite consciousness.

We can’t see past the mirror until we’re willing to see through it.

Look again. Reframe it. How you meet struggle and resistance is a choice.
